Our founders story
Dr. Ravid Shechter-Ushpizin, PhD. Co-founder
Entrepreneur, Research expert & a Mom
Ravid received her B.Sc in Biochemistry from the Technion institute of technology and her direct track Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of science. Ravid's scientific expertise includes immunology, developmental neurobiology, stem cell research and central nervous system repair. Ravid is a mother of two, both of which she proudly breastfed for a total of over 5 years while persisting with her successful full time scientific career. Ravid received many honors and prizes, including the prestigious John. F. Kennedy prize, in recognition of academic excellence and scientific accomplishments.
Dr. Sharon Haramati, PhD. Co-founder
Entrepreneur, Research expert & a Mom
Sharon received her B.Sc. in the joint program for medicine and life sciences From TAU, and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of science. Sharon's valued scientific research focused on molecular genetics of behavior, psychiatric disorders, neuroendocrinology, as well as neuropsychology of human memory. During her research, Sharon also completed a program in economics, business, finance and intellectual properties. Sharon overcame many breastfeeding difficulties, during which she envisioned MyMilk concept. Since then she become a mother of another baby boy, and overall breastfed over 2 years each. with extended knowledge. She also tested her milk, and was excited and empowered by the results.

Mobile Application lead developer
Elena is talented mobile application developer. She worked in software service company and as freelance developing iOs applications. Elena develops the user facing mobile Application for the MyLee product, Including user interface, App-hardware interface, and interfaces to App server side. Elena is a mother of two, whom she breastfed over 4 years cumulatively.
Anastasia Firsow, Msc
Head of laboratory operations
Anastasia is a Medical laboratory expert, with over 10 years of experience in clinical laboratory operations, in several of the largest medical laboratories in Israel.
Anastasia holds wide range of expertise in wet lab techniques, analytical chemistry and R&D activities. Anastasia is managing all aspects of MyMilk laboratory operations, for both clinical laboratory operations, customer projects and R&D activities.
Anastasia is holding a senior medical laboratory worker certificate by the Israeli Ministry of health, and CRA & GCP certification for monitoring and coordinating clinical trials.
Anastasia received her BSc in medical laboratory science from Hadassah academic college, and her master’s degree in Life science, Molecular Genetics from Tel Aviv University.
Nourit Klepar RD, CDN
Nutrition expert & breastfeeding mom
Nourit is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Certified Dietetic Nutritionist (CDN) by the New York State. She holds a degree in Psychology and Nutrition and Food Science from Hunter College, NY. Nourit has been providing nutritional counseling for the past 14 years specializing in the areas of weight loss, medical nutrition therapy (diabetes and cardiovascular disease), pre and postnatal nutrition, pediatric and teen nutrition and recipe analysis. With experience in Manhattan, New York and Israel. Nourit also holds a dietetic instructor position at the Israeli ministry of health.

Professor Shaul Dollberg, MD, Neonatology - Advisory Board
Licensed pediatrician in Israel and the U.S.A. Full professor at the Sackler Medical Faculty of the Tel Aviv University, with more than 100 scientific papers published in leading medical journals including numerous peer reviewed papers on breastfeeding and breastmilk. Professor Dollberg has been treating tongue ties for over 15 years and is a leading researcher in many published papers on the subject. Graduated 1985 from Hebrew University/Hadassah Medical School and received MD Degree in 1986, followed by pediatrics residency at Bikur Holim Hospital, Jerusalem
Prof. Arthur Eidelman, MD Neonatology - Advisory Board
Prof. Eidelman is the former director of NICU at Shaare Zedek Medical center, the former president of the American breastfeeding medicine association and the head of policy statement section committee on breastfeeding American academy of pediatrics. Editor in Chief, Breastfeeding Medicine.

Co-founders begin work on human milk testing development
MyMilk formally Incorporated
Partnership with AML Clinical laboratory (Israel), and build a human milk expert laboratory.
Funding from the Israeli innovation authority
Establishment of human milk lab-based testing, directly to moms, for lactogenesis, and breast infection diagnosis.
Developed the milk sampling kit supporting lab-based analysis, established laboratory-based human milk testing methods for micronutrients and macronutrients and the personalized results.
Hundreds of laboratory-based breast milk testing performed for mothers
Supporting the development of breast pumps, medication for pre-terms, milk banks, and academic research.
Development of the first milk MyLee prototype for monitoring milk supply establishment. System validated with 1000s' of tests in MyMilk laboratory.
Initiating a cohort of several dozen lactation consultants, who used the milk scanner units and and LC facing app for on-the-spot assessment of milk maturation dynamics in their routine practice, with over 700 mothers.
Participating in SV101 ICON program bridging Israeli entrepreneurs to the silicon valley ecosystem
Advising and assisting the establishment of the first milk bank in Israel, setting up all external breastmilk tests for the bank, and supported all validation procedures enabling the launch of milk bank operations.
Participating in Hadassah Accelerator powered by IBM AlphaZone for digital health startup companies
MyMilk selected as Top Pick TechCrunch Disrupt SF, and the MyLee presented on main stage at startup battlefield.
First beta units of the Mylee for in-home breastfeeding monitoring by moms were distributed to our early testing community members.
First Academic study using the MyLee system initiated in a UCSF clinical study.
